Looking to spend 4-5 days in NYC in March. Don%26#39;t really want to have to share a hotel room with friend. Can you recommend serviced apartment type arrangement or similar that has 2 bedrooms?
Preference for central location. Prepared to spend a bit to have a good pad.

Check out the affinia hotels on affinia.com. Many are suites. Also check Radio City Apartments and Murray Hill East Suites. The affinia hotels would be nicer though.

Another idea is to bid on Priceline for 2 rooms at the same hotel. You could get 2 rooms at a 4* hotel for $115-140/night each.
Depending on your budget, you could also probably get connecting rooms at some hotels if you don%26#39;t want to be totally separate. I have a friend who%26#39;s partner snores. They get a suite at the Parker Meridien with a connected bedroom. The PM also has a rooftop swimming pool. ;)
Check out The Comfort Inn Chelsea at 18 W. 25th St. They have ';family suites'; that are actually 2 separate bedrooms (1 king, 2 doubles) and 1 bath. This is in an older hotel that was bought and renovated by Choice Hotels (Comfort Inn`s parent company) less than a year ago so rooms are compact and well maintained. Expanded continenal breakfast is included. Chances are this will be a better price then 2 hotel rooms and a 1 bedroom suite (where someone would have to sleep on a sofa bed.)
