Shuttle Service or taxi to the airport

This is my first time to NYC and I will only be there for the weekend so every minute counts. Do you think I should arrange for a shuttle to pick me and my daughter up from Club Quarters Midtown (they pick up 3 1/2 hours before our flight), or do you think we should catch a taxi?

Everybody always complains about the terrible experiences they have with the shuttles, and they do not save alot of money. DO NOT waste your time with the shuttles, there are posts upon posts about the awful experiences.

A taxi to LaGuardia will cost less than $30.00 from Midtown. It is also fairly simple to take public transportation for $2.00 per person and you can leave the Club Quarters two hours and 15 to two hours and 30 minutes before your flight.

Are you flying from La Gauardia or JFK? Actually, doesn%26#39;t really matter, if time is your concern, take a taxi

We are flying out of La Gauardia. It sounds like we will save about an hour by taking a taxi and the shuttle price was $30, so there is really no savings.

THANK YOU!

No point in a shared shuttle to LGA but depending on what time you%26#39;re leaving Manhattan and when, you might want to consider ordering a car service in advance. That way you don%26#39;t have to worry about finding a taxi if you%26#39;re leaving at a busy time.

It will cost about the same as a taxi.

  1. I've never been much of one for shuttles or taxis, I actually really like taking a limo to and from the airport. The price really isn't much different from a cab ride.
